Turnover of Algeria’s Sonelgaz reaches USD 2bn in 2007. The turnover of Algeria’s electricity and gas company Sonelgaz reached DZD 126.7bn (USD 2bn) in 2007, the Associated Press quoted the company’s chief executive officer, Noureddine Boutarfa, as saying. He added that the company, which posted DZD 8bn (USD 126mn) profit in 2007, is in a good financial position but still needs a lot of funds to finance its projects over the next five years.
