EconMin meets with Turkish ambassador. EconMin met with Turkish ambassador in Ukraine to discuss trade and economic bilateral cooperation perspectives. Danylyshyn noted that trade turnover between Turkey and Ukraine reached USD 4.932bn which is by USD 1.545bn more compared to last year. At the meeting future seventh inter-countries commission meeting in Ankara was discussed. The investment projects realization was among the issues discussed too. Bohdan Danylyshyn greeted the decision of Turkey to lift a ban for Ukrainian steel semi-finished products imports. Turkey becomes a strategic partner due to rising export volumes by 52.7% y/y to USD 3.650bn in 2007, we believe.
