SLSP bank to launch two mortgage bond issues on Apr 16. Slovenska Sporitelna (SLSP) was preparing two new issues of mortgage bonds, the bank announced. Both of them were to be floated on April 16. The larger issue would have a SKK 500mn volume and a maturity period of thirteen years. It would bear a fixed coupon rate of 5%, paid on an annual basis. The second issue would expire in 2012 and have a floating coupon rate of six-month BRIBOR plus 10bps. It would be paid twice per year. Both issues were to be floated at par on a closed auction for a selected range of investors. They would be also applied for trading on the listed parallel market of the Bratislava Stock Exchange (BCPB). SLSP is the largest bank in Slovakia in terms of total assets. It is fully owned by Austrian Erste Bank.
