We received 92 replies (2007: 63 replies). Respondents were asked to nominate the top three companies in each of the countries or sectors they covered, bearing in mind market strength, profitability, growth potential, quality of management and earnings. Points were awarded on a scale of 4:3:2. for first-, second- and third-place nominations respectively. Companies’ results are presented as a percentage of total points received in each category, together with the number of companies that received points in each category.
