Prupim strengthens UK team

Prudential Property Investment Management has hired two directors for its UK asset management team.

Tim Hayns will lead the retail park team and Simon Phipps the shopping centre team.

Mark Boor, director of asset management, says the commercial property market is at a stage in the cycle where it is increasingly important to add value through a proactive approach to asset management, and Prupim is committed to recruiting the best talent in the industry.

Phipps joins from Morley Fund Management and Hayns from Wilkinson Williams.

Prupim has also added Henri Vuong as research analyst to its property research team. She joins from Estates Gazette Interactive and will focus on the UK high street retail sector and European office markets.
