McGuire leaves Standard Life for Axa
He reports to Christian Delaire, global head of fund management, and will manage the core plus European Added Value Fund. The fund was launched in April 2006 and has closed having attracted €422 million from investors in the UK, Ireland, Middle East, Spain and the Nordic countries. With leverage at 60% it has purchasing power of up to €1.05 billion.
McGuire was investment director at Standard Life Investments in Edinburgh.
